The artifacts developed in the drafting process, like the things in our designed world, are given far too little attention from the public and researchers alike. This book deals with the epistemic role of the manifestations which arise through the drafting process, which make intentions, methods and creative processes legible. The essays about and from design, architecture and engineering, represent an interdisciplinary inventory and inquire into a new, cross-disciplinary perspective of drafting amongst the tensions between analog and digital planning and technological processes.
