[Our Relations after the Holy and Great Council of Crete 2016. XVIII. Meeting in the Bilateral Theological Dialogue between the Protestant Church in Germany and the Ecumenical Patriarchate] This volume documents the 18th dialogue meeting between theologians of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Protestant Church in Germany, which took place in Berlin from 3rd to 7th of October 2022. The meeting focussed on an exchange of views on the texts of the Holy and Great Council of the Orthodox Church (Crete 2016) and their significance for the relations with the Protestant Church. The Council document »Der Auftrag der Orthodoxen Kirche in der heutigen Welt«, the Council's decree on relations with non-Orthodox Christianity and the text »Für das Leben der Welt«, which was written after the Council, were discussed in detail. From a Protestant perspective, the ecumenical significance of the Council texts was developed in theological and ethical terms.
