Summary

Kafka’s texts are an example of literature after 1900 written in knowledge of Freud’s theorems. For literary scholars interested in psychoanalysis, this with Kafka particularly intricate and productive constellation makes it possible to reflect on the negotiation of psychoanalysis through literary texts. The connection between literature and psychoanalysis is not a monodirectional one. Psychoanalysis inscribes itself (even if ex negativo) in the literary texts. At the same time, however, literary texts are also capable of generating new psychoanalytical configurations, new psychoanalytical knowledge.
