Summary

In this study, the balcony is metaphorically opened up phenomenologically as a transcendental window into the world (between wistfulness, the joy of existence, love, melancholy, gloom) and reflects the psychodynamics of the experiential experience of the longing to be with others in the face of ontological homelessness as the alienation of modern man. This is the problem of the developmental task of self-transcendence as man's becoming a person in the polarity between self-reference and world reference. The little people can often only imagine the place they long for. It may be the south, but the south can be anywhere because this issue is about the inner peace of the soul as the basis of social togetherness and togetherness with nature.
