Practices of reenactment, of reconstructing and anticipating future events, play a key role in many cultural fields. This includes the field of psychotherapy, where they are relevant since the 18th century. Current cultural research have increasingly addressed artistic varieties of reenactment – but connections to this parallel history of (re-)enactment have hardly been recognized. Under the programmatic title »ScenoTest«, the contributions to this volume provide an equally scientific and scenic view of example sceneries and practices between art, theater, and therapy.
