Summary

Die Lüge ist eine der Spielformen der nicht-faktualen Kommunikation, die keinen Anspruch auf Wahrheit erfüllt. Im Rahmen des Graduiertenkollegs Faktuales und Fiktionales Erzählen untersuchen die hier versammelten Beiträge verschiedene Theorien und historische Kontexte, in denen Varianten des Lügens, Täuschens, Fälschens, Betrügens und der Falschaussage bzw. der Falschnachricht (fake news) entscheidend sind: so z.B. die zentrale Rolle der Verstellung in der Renaissance, die literarische Konturierung von Fiktion im Gegensatz zur Lüge, aber auch der spielerische Umgang mit Faktualität und Fiktionalität in Roman und Drama. Die Psychologie diskutiert das Lügen als ein Entwicklungsstadium; die Rechtswissenschaft untersucht sog. "legal fictions".
