Summary

Social casework is one of the fundamental methods of social work. Working with individuals and families is an important part of the professional activity of social workers in various fields of action. Professionals are expected to provide professional and appropriate help as part of their professional activities in collaboration with the individuals and families affected by the consequences. This book is aimed at social work students and professionals. It not only provides an overview of social casework, but also demonstrates techniques for methodical action in the context of casework. The book is enriched by case examples and tasks that serve to further illustrate the topic. Prof. Dr. Torsten Linke is professor of social work with a focus on social casework at the HTWK Leipzig.
