Dieses Taschenbuch enthält im ersten Teil die wichtigsten statistischen Formeln und Tabellen, soweit sie für Berechnungen im Rahmen eines wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Studiums erforderlich sind.

Der zweite Teil des Buches enthält die für praktische Berechnungen benötigten statistischen Tabellen.

Im dritten Teil werden die für den Anwender besonders hilfreichen statistischen Programme vorgestellt. Neben allgemeinen Fragen, die bei der Auswahl eines geeigneten Statistik-Softwarepaketes zu beachten sind, werden insbesondere die Programmsysteme SAS, SPSS, STATGRAPHICS und STATISTICA kurz charakterisiert.

Damit eignet sich dieses Taschenbuch gut zur Verwendung in statistischen Klausuren und macht die Herausgabe gesonderter Klausurhilfsblätter durch Dozenten weitgehend überflüssig.
