Zusammenfassung

Die multi-dimensionalen Elemente von Good Water Governance, wie beispielsweise Transparenz oder Partizipation, unterstützen Veränderungsprozesse auf der Ebene der Water Governance positiv. Im Fall der Türkei treffen diese Elemente auf die durch den EU-Beitrittsprozess angestoßenen Entwicklungen der türkischen Water Governance und werden durch diese beeinflusst. Die Arbeit zeigt einerseits auf, ob und wie der EU-Beitrittsprozess die Herausbildung von Good Water Governance fördern und beschleunigen kann. Andererseits untersucht sie die Herausbildung der Elemente von Good Water Governance innerhalb der Water Governance der Türkei auf Grundlage der prognostizierten Wasserknappheit und der ökologischen Tragfähigkeit der Ressource Wasser.
