Zusammenfassung

Unter Bedingungen einer globalen Konkurrenz zwischen China und den USA werden Asymmetrien in Lieferketten oder ganzen Branchen sowie bei der allgemeinen wirtschaftlichen Machtposition zunehmend genutzt, um strategisch relevanten Einfluss zu nehmen. Während die USA hauptsächlich Sanktionen zur Durchsetzung ihrer strategischen Ziele einsetzen, versucht China Abhängigkeitsstrukturen ökonomischer, infrastrukturmäßiger und technologischer Art in einer Vielzahl von Bereichen aufzubauen. Das gleiche gilt im kleineren Rahmen auch für Russland. Das vorliegende Buch gibt einen Überblick über Bemühungen Chinas und Russlands, Deutschland und andere Staaten Europas für politische Ziele in Abhängigkeit zu bringen. Die Analyse bilanziert die Zeit bis 2022 und fragt nach den derzeit bestehenden und absehbaren Risiken für unsere Sicherheit.
