Zusammenfassung

Die Studie untersucht auf innovative Weise Facetten der europäischen Integration, der zentrale Fokus liegt auf der Rolle der EU als internationaler Akteur. Vier Dimensionen dieser Rolle werden untersucht: Anerkennung, Attraktivität, Legitimation und Rahmung. Die Untersuchung geschieht sowohl auf theoretischer Ebene als auch durch vier empirische Fallstudien. Die Studie wendet sich sowohl an Praktiker als auch Wissenschaftler, die sich mit europäischer Integration befassen.
