Osteuropa Recht is concerned with current issues of the legal systems in Eastern Europe as well as the international and regional integration of these countries. It focuses on states in Eastern, Central and South-Eastern Europe as well as on the Caucasus and Central Asia. The journal records and analyses the legislative, the jurisdiction and legal debates in these states. Thus, the journal contributes to international comparative legal research.

The journal is published quarterly by Nomos Publishing. In 2019, Nomos has been included in the list of publishing companies selected by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. OER is peer-reviewed. The publishing language is German and English.

Osteuropa Recht was founded in 1954 and is published by the Gesellschaft für Osteuropakunde e.V.

About the Journal

Current Rese arch Findings and Controversial Discussions from all areas and sub-areas of Political Science: Politische Vierteljahresschrift (PVS) has been published since 1960 by the executive and advisory board of the German Association for Political Science (DVPW). The journal provides space for recent research findings from all sub-areas of political science. It therefore contains papers on political theory and the history of ideas; on comparative governance and politics; the domains of policy analysis, international relations and foreign policy; on political sociology; and papers in the areas of empirical social research and methodology.

The PVS contains four categories of articles: The critical papers form the core category of the journal. In this section, are published theory-based and methodically reflected articles from all sub-areas of political science. Within the forum section, contemporary scientific controversies are debated. The commentaries contain scientifically well-grounded statements with reference to current issues of political developments or to the field of political science. The review essays provide a broad overview of the international state of the art of political science, as well as current developments and relevant published literature regarding a particular research-field.

The PVS-Literatur publishes reviews of single publications from all sub-fields of the discipline of political sciences, as well as accumulative reviews presenting more than one new publication within an area of political sciences. Every paper published in the PVS (within the categories critical papers and forum) is run through a double-blind expertise process prior to publication. Generally, two external referees examine the anonymous manuscripts. The referee reports are also made anonymous before being handed back to the authors. Additionally, the authors can be provided with references from the editorial board.

The editors rely on the collaboration of the colleagues in the scientific discipline as their referees and reviewers. Anyone interested in being a referee or reviewer is welcomed to complete and submit the PVS-reviewer-form or referee-form to the editor. About the Journal

Soziale Welt is one of the important journals within German sociology and is even read in foreign countries. It includes empirical and theoretical contributions from all areas of the subject and tries to portray the development of sociology and to give a new impetus. In addition to the quarterly published issues, there are special issues with a unified theme.

The journal Soziale Welt is aimed at sociologists, social scientists, and at generally interested readers.

Die TECHNIKGESCHICHTE ist die deutschsprachige Fachzeitschrift für technikhistorische Forschung. Im Jahr 1909 als »Jahrbuch Technikgeschichte« begründet, ist die Zeitschrift heute das traditionsreichste deutsche Fachperiodikum, das sich dem gesamten Fachgebiet der Technikgeschichte von den Anfängen bis zur Gegenwart widmet. TECHNIKGESCHICHTE veröffentlicht Originalbeiträge über die geschichtliche Entwicklung der Technik in ihren wissenschaftlichen, gesellschaftlichen, wirtschaftlichen und politischen Zusammenhängen. With its concept of combining theoretical standards and practical relevance in high-quality scientific articles, it is one of the leading European journals in the field of business administration.

VEREINTE NATIONEN Zeitschrift für die Vereinten Nationen und ihre Sonderorganisationen – ist das einzige unabhängige deutschsprachige Fachorgan, das ausschließlich den Vereinten Nationen (UN), ihren Sonderorganisationen und Spezialorganen sowie deren Aktivitäten und Programmen gewidmet ist. Von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für die Vereinten Nationen (DGVN) im Jahr 1952 gegründet, ist VN ein Forum für Ideen, Analysen und Diskussionen zu UN-bezogenen Themen wie Friedenssicherung, Menschenrechte, Nord-Süd-Beziehungen oder Völkerrecht. Sowohl namhafte deutsche als auch internationale Experten aus den Vereinten Nationen, der Wissenschaft, Politik, den Medien oder nichtstaatlichen Organisationen analysieren aktuelle Fragen der internationalen Zusammenarbeit im Spiegel der Vereinten Nationen. Technical journal for the paper, board and pulp industry with the editorial focus on technical articles dealing with engineering and practice-related topics, research reports, new technical developments and applications, supplemented by company reports, presentations of products, topical news from the industry and news of associations.

The ZaöRV has been published since 1929 under the auspices of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg. Its English name is Heidelberg Journal of International Law (HJIL). The journal is a forum for discussing fundamental and current issues of public international law, European Union law, comparative public law, and occasionally topics in the domestic public law of EU member states and beyond. Its ambition is to publish contributions by authors from all over the world, with a wide gamut of scholarly methods and outlooks. The journal is bilingual (English and German). All German pieces are made visible to that audience by their English abstracts and translated titles.

"GL" has been published by the Research Center Deutscher Sprachatlas since 1969 and is one of the best established publications in the field of German linguistics. To date, more than 250 thematic issues have been published, 2-3 per year. “GL” provides an overview of fundamental issues in German linguistics and topics that have a particular impact on the discipline. Each issue is dedicated to a specific topic.

Offa is named after a legendary king of the Anglo-Saxons reigning over part of Schleswig-Holstein, who was praised for his braveness and wisdom. The early volumes of Offa, which started in 1936, mainly published articles on local Archaeology, but already showing a wide chronological range from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. Archaeology being a trans-regional science, in the course of time numerous scholars from Scandinavia, Western, Central and Eastern Europe presented their results of research.

Die Zeitschrift psychosozial beschäftigt sich mit gesellschaftlichen und kulturellen Erfahrungen und deren Zusammenhang mit psychischen Entwicklungen und Dynamiken. Die Zeitschrift fördert den Dialog zwischen den Sozialwissenschaften, den Kulturwissenschaften, der Psychologie und der Psychoanalyse und bietet Raum für Beiträge zur qualitativen, quantitativen sowie theoretisch-konzeptionellen Forschung.

Die 1978 gegründete Zeitschrift erschien zunächst im Rowohlt Verlag, ab 1986 im Beltz Verlag. Seit 1993 erscheint sie im Psychosozial-Verlag mit vier Themenheften pro Jahr. S+F (Securit y and Peace) is the leading German journal for peace research and security policy. The journal aims to serve as a forum linking civil society and the armed forces in the areas of science and politics comprising of research analysis, insider reports and opinion pieces. Decisions on publication are made on the basis of the contribution made by a text to national and international discussions on peace and security issues; from scientific aspects of arms control, to questions of nation-building in post-war societies.

Every issue of S+F is focussed on a particular theme. In addition to contributions devoted to the central theme, texts addressing general aspects of peace and security research are also published. Contributors can choose whether to have the text evaluated by the editorial team or by way of an external evaluation process (double-blind peer-review).
