Mythos

Mythos. Journal für Ästhetik is dedicated to current issues in aesthetics, art philosophy, and media philosophy. Through its thematically clustered publication format, among other features, it promotes transdisciplinary exchange and stimulates lively debate in the fields of art theory and philosophical aesthetics. Founded in 2005 by Prof. Peter Tepe under “Mythos Magazin,” the online journal has focused on the field of art theory since 2024 and has been published in cooperation with Velbrück Wissenschaft since 2026.
