Summary

Dreieckskooperation ist eine relative neue Form der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, die international immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit erfährt. Durch die Verknüpfung der Expertise von drei Partnern bieten Dreieckskooperationen große Chancen, besonders im Empfängerland. Darüber hinaus schlagen sie eine Brücke zwischen Nord-Süd- und Süd-Süd-Kooperation, erweitern das Instrumentarium der internationalen Zusammenarbeit und fördern Horizontalität zwischen den Partnern. In der praktischen Umsetzung allerdings ergeben sich viele Herausforderungen, die gemeinsame Anstrengungen erfordern.

Als gemeinsame Initiative der Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) und der Technischen Universität Darmstadt, liefert die Publikation praktische Orientierung, empirische Evidenz und wissenschaftliche Analysen rund um das Thema Dreieckskooperation. Zusätzlich stellen Autoren aus Wissenschaft und Praxis in 16 Case Studies ihre Erfahrungen vor und diskutieren zentrale Aspekte der Dreieckskooperation.
