Gender? How do power relations, norms, and discourses shape descriptions of one's own experience? How can the will of experience still come into its own? With such questions, phenomenology reconnects philosophy to everyday reality; it becomes based on the body, which is the prerequisite for all experience. Academic disciplines such as gender studies use phenomenological categories and develop them both theoretically and practically. This book presents the results of this research from a feminist perspective, while also centring the search for a language of sensual experience.
