The Displacement, Extinction and Genocide of the Pontic Greeks 1916–1923

Summary
Like the Armenian genocide, the displacement and extinction of the Pontic Greeks must be understood as a chapter of the extensive anti-Muslim (and later anti-Turkish) campaign of the Young-Turkish and Kemalist government. In European research, however, this topic has long been neglected. This English-language interdisciplinary volume addresses this issue and thus contributes substantially to the study of the genocide of the Pontic Greeks.
