Our lives take place inside architecture. It shapes the reality of our existence and influences us more than any other environmental factor. An optimal interaction between people and architecture is therefore in our own best interest. This requires an understanding of human perception – the basis of our experiences and behaviours. In this book, representatives from the fields of architecture, psychology, philosophy, political science, art, media studies, history and education dedicate themselves to exploring the various facets of how architecture is perceived.
