Summary
Das Rechtsgebiet des „Transitional Constitutionalism“ stellt einen Kernbereich des Internationalen Verfassungsrechts dar. Es behandelt die Notwendigkeit eines provisorischen konstitutionellen Rahmens in Zeiten des politischen Umbruchs und untersucht verschiedene Aspekte einer neuen Verfassunggebung. Die Abhandlung nimmt auf die Situationen im Sudan, Chile, Argentinien, Litauen, Ost-Timor sowie im Kosovo Bezug. Darüber hinaus wird die Rolle der UN-Friedenskommission in Übergangszeiten erläutert.
