Summary
War with all its horrors has returned to the continent. Russia, with her war against Ukraine, has turned the entire post-war order upside down and triggered another crisis for Europe.
Geopolitics must be based on a clear vision of a desired state, an assessment of the environment and an honest analysis of one’s own capabilities and means. The (geo)political decision must explore all legal boundaries to put aggressors permanently in their place. The EU has experienced a series of crises since 2008. Only a ‚sine ira et studio‘ approach will overcome this permanent crisis. This book presents the geopolitical options for security, foreign and economic policy, and strategic decisions.
