Ordnungsvorstellungen von Gesellschaft und Religion: Die Perspektive religiöser Eliten in Südosteuropa

Zusammenfassung

Die Position der Religion in der modernen Gesellschaft wird heute wieder verstärkt diskutiert. Eine in der Wissenschaft nicht ausreichend thematisierte Dimension ist die Perspektive der Religion, während deren Vertreter als normative Multiplikatoren in ihrer Gruppe anerkannt sind und darüber hinaus in weiten Teilen der Bevölkerung Reaktionen hervorrufen. Die Studie nimmt aufgrund des multireligiösen Charakters Albanien, Nord-Mazedonien und Slowenien in den Blick; hier wurden q-method Interviews mit 90 religiösen Würdenträgern durchgeführt. Zuerst wurde nach den inneren Mustern der Einstellungen bezüglich der bevorzugten Gesellschaftsordnung und der Rolle der Religion gefragt, zweitens nach Potentialen für religiös motivierten Konflikt innerhalb dieser. Zusammengefasst lassen sich ein hoher Grad integrativer Potentiale, eine große inhaltliche Spannweite und spezifische Konflikträume aufzeigen.

Der Autor ist Soziologe und forscht zu mixed-methods, Politik und Religion.
