Zusammenfassung

„Employability Research in Africa" untersucht die Arbeitslosigkeit unter Hochschulabsolvent:innen. Das Werk analysiert Arbeitsmarktdynamiken sowie die Erfahrungen von Absolventen. Zudem evaluiert es Maßnahmen, um die Chancen afrikanischer Hochschulabsolventen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt oder als Unternehmensgründer zu verbessern. Es erörtert sektorale Perspektiven, Strategien und Innovationen an Hochschulen, die Kompetenzentwicklung durch digitale Technologien sowie die Auswirkungen des technologischen Wandels. Die Fallbeispiele regen dazu an, das Konzept der Arbeitsmarkfähigkeit neu zu denken. Das Buch liefert Erkenntnisse für alle, die bestrebt sind die Kluft zwischen Bildung und Beschäftigung zu überbrücken und eine inklusive Entwicklung zu fördern. Dieser Titel erscheint auch Open Access.
