Zusammenfassung

In diesem Buch vertritt der Autor mit Nachdruck die Ansicht, dass wir weder die letzten Jahrzehnte noch die folgenden verstehen können, wenn wir die zentrale Bedeutung der Jugoslawienkriege der 1990er Jahre und ihre Folgen nicht vollständig durchdrungen haben. Es ist eben diese zentrale Bedeutung des jugoslawischen Momentums, das erklärt, warum Putin wiederholt über Kosovo spricht – und warum der Westen aufgehört hat, darüber zu sprechen. Der Autor analysiert in diesen über 40 Beiträgen insbesondere die Rolle der NATO, der OSZE, der EU und das Verhältnis zu Russland.
