About the Journal

Soziale Welt is one of the important journals within German sociology and is even read in foreign countries. It includes empirical and theoretical contributions from all areas of the subject and tries to portray the development of sociology and to give a new impetus. In addition to the quarterly published issues, there are special issues with a unified theme.

The journal Soziale Welt is aimed at sociologists, social scientists, and at generally interested readers.

The journal Leviathan devotes itself to enlightenment and criticism in the social sciences. It publishes current research and debate on topics drawn from politics, culture, economics, philosophy, law and society.

The journal is read by practitioners from academic research and education, politics and administration as well as communication and media. With its cross-disciplinary and cross-methodological approach it bridges the gap between theory, empirical evidence and political practice.

management revue - Socio-Economic Studies is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary European journal publishing both qualitative and quantitative work, as well as purely theoretical papers that advance the study of management, organisation, and industrial relations. management revue publishes articles that contribute to theory from a number of disciplines, including business and public administration, organizational behaviour, economics, sociology, and psychology. Reviews of books relevant to management and organization studies are a regular feature.

Special issues provide a unique and rich insight into the issue's research field. Each special issue, organized by selected guest editors, will comprise at least two (controversial) overview articles from leaders in the field, at least three new empirical papers and up to ten book reviews related to the relevant topic.

The journal offers depth insights into selected research topics by providing potentially controversial perspectives, new theoretical insights, valuable empirical analysis and brief reviews of key publications. The goal is to establish management revue - Socio-Economic Studies as a top quality symposium journal for the international academic community.

The annual workshop "Organizational Theory" held at the Inter-University Center Dubrovnik is a multidisciplinary forum for discussing empirical and theoretical studies with colleagues and students. The yearly seminar takes place in springtime (one week) and is open to being used for preparing a special issue of management revue - Socio-Economic Studies. The dates and topic for the workshops will be announced as a Call for Papers.

management revue - Socio-Economic Studies is indexed in the Web of Science™ Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), ABS Academic Journal Guide 2018, Elesevier's Scopus and the RePEc services IDEAS and EconPapers.

The journal is published in English language.

The Journal of East European Management Studies aims to examine, explore and explain managerial behavior and practices within various societies.  JEEMS welcomes contributions from scholars around the world, publishing articles grounded in social science that involve general areas within Organization and Management Studies. These areas include Strategic Management, the Management of Change, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, International and Cross-Cultural Management and Business Ethics.
