About the Journal

S+F (Securit y and Peace) is the leading German journal for peace research and security policy. The journal aims to serve as a forum linking civil society and the armed forces in the areas of science and politics comprising of research analysis, insider reports and opinion pieces. Decisions on publication are made on the basis of the contribution made by a text to national and international discussions on peace and security issues; from scientific aspects of arms control, to questions of nation-building in post-war societies.

Every issue of S+F is focussed on a particular theme. In addition to contributions devoted to the central theme, texts addressing general aspects of peace and security research are also published. Contributors can choose whether to have the text evaluated by the editorial team or by way of an external evaluation process (double-blind peer-review).

About the Journal

Zeitschrift für Parlamentsfragen contains articles on political issues dealing with representation and legitimation of the political system. The articles provide a broad overview of the functioning of national and regional parliaments as well as a forum for comparative analysis of international parliaments. One stress is on the parliamentary development of different countries. Indices are provided in every issue which makes the ZParl an outstanding reference book for institutional and comparative political studies.

The quarterly entitled integration will appeal to all those in academia, education, politics, administration and the media who are concerned with European issues. It represents a theory-based and politics-related interdisciplinary forum on fundamental questions relating to European integration, in which the current problems of European policy are discussed from both a political and an academic perspective.

The journal contains three categories of articles: academic contributions and fundamental analyses of European policy, conference reports and literature reviews.

The IEP (Institut für Europäische Politik) is a strategic partner of the European Commission and is financially supported by it. The IEP assumes sole responsibility for the journal’s content.

About the Journal

Zeitschrift für Internationale Beziehungen is the flagship journal of the German International Relations community. According to a poll amongst German political scientists across various sub-fields conducted in 2009 it is also considered the best German-language journal in Political Science at large. ZIB publishes articles that make original as well as theoretically and methodically reflected contributions to the study of international relations. The thematic spectrum includes the entire range of IR, including IR theory, foreign policy analysis, international institutions, peace and conflict resolution, security policy, European integration, North-South relations, development policy, and international economic relations. The high quality of articles that are published in ZIB is ensured through double blind peer review. ZIB was the first journal in German Political Science to introduce such a process. Since its founding in 1994 ZIB has greatly contributed to the professionalization of the German IR-community and can be considered a key source for thematic stimuli on theoretical, methodological and empirical levels at the edge of contemporary IR research. About the Journal

The Journal of European Integration History provides a forum for research on the European integration process in all its aspects: political, military, economic, technological, social, and cultural.

It focusses on contributions covering specific unification projects since 1945, but also publishes works on their precursors and preparations.The purpose of the Journal is to encourage the analysis and understanding of different aspects of European integration, especially since 1945, in as wide a perspective as possible. The Journal publishes the conclusions of research on diplomatic, military, economic, technological, social and cultural aspects of integration.

The journal is published twice a year. In addition to thematic issues, there are “open” issues, and reviews of important new publications are also published each time. The articles by an international group of authors are published in English, French or German.

The priority of this journal is to provide a platform for carrying on critical debates on basic, theoretical and practice-oriented political science. The high quality of the main articles published is ensured by double blind peer review. The journal publishes articles, essays, commentaries and short analyses of urgent political affairs.

About the Journal

SEER tries t o stimulate the exchange of information among researchers, trade unionists and people who have a special interest in the political, social and economic development of the region of south-east Europe.

The journal tries to draw attention to new research results and the latest analyses about the ongoing process of political and social changes in the south-east of Europe. It tries to create more understanding for the importance of the elaboration of democratic structures in industrial relations. The SEER combines contributions from different disciplines and »political schools« into an information package of interest for policy makers, researchers, academics and trade unionists from various backgrounds.
