This publication series encompasses monographs and anthologies on the role of sea power in international relations, the evolution of naval forces and maritime strategy, and the importance of maritime security in global security. The series Media and Religion offers a platform for innovative and creative contributions to this particular research field. It presents research projects from the fields of religion, theology, sociology, media, film and gender studies, political science, cultural studies and visual studies. Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies are particularly welcome. The series aims to publish critical analyses of the multi-layered interactions between religion and media in history and contemporary society from an empirical, theoretical, and hermeneutical perspective.

Advances in Knowledge Organization (AKO) AKO is the series of proceedings of International ISKO Conferences. Papers are submitted to the organizers of each conference and submissions are peer-reviewed by the scientific committee of the conference.
