Series

The series of publications entitled “Freiburger Schriften zur Finanzwissenschaft und Wirtschaftspolitik” (“Freiburg Publications on Finance and Economic Policy”) publishes papers from the pre-eminent fields of economics research, which are also rich in tradition, at the University of Freiburg. The array of subjects which these analyses address ranges from the pension system and employment policy, education policy, demography, European and international governance, fiscal sustainability, federalism, healthcare policy, real estate economics, migration, tax and performance-based competition, the causes and effects of transnational conflicts, violence, crime, terror and corruption to behavioural economics and satisfaction research. These studies approach problems from both a theoretical perspective as well as using a selection of econometric, experimental or qualitative research methods. What links them is that they all address both political and social as well as topical academic issues. Their authors’ common, overarching goal is to provide well-founded recommendations on using their findings in politico-economic consulting and to help implement them.

Gesundheitsforschung. Interdisziplinäre Perspektiven (G.IP) is a series edited by Prof. Dr. Elisabeth André, Prof. Dr. Alexandra Manzei-Gorsky, and Prof. Dr. Claudia Traidl-Hoffmann in cooperation with the Center for Interdisciplinary Health Research (ZIG) at the University of Augsburg. The aim of the G.IP series is to take the demands of interdisciplinary research seriously and to make the latest findings from health research available across disciplines. The G.IP series publishes in two lines: First, the special issues examine current health topics from an interdisciplinary perspective and are edited by a specifically composed interdisciplinary team of experts. Second, special issues on specific questions of interdisciplinary health research are published regularly. This series publishes both monographs and anthologies written in German. The series ”Religion – Wirtschaft – Politik“ (Religion–Economy–Politics) provides a platform for academic publications by the Centre for Religion, Economy and Politics (www.zrwp.ch ), a joint venture by the Universities of Basel, Fribourg, Lausanne, Lucerne, Zurich, and the Collegium Helveticum. The ZRWP aims to analyse the interactions between religion, economy, and politics in an inter- and transdisciplinary way by encouraging innovative research on religion. By publishing monographs and edited volumes focused on content and methods, the series contributes to a better understanding and explanation of religion in society at a local, regional, national, and transnational level in a globalizing world.
