Gesundheitsforschung. Interdisziplinäre Perspektiven (G.IP) is a series edited by Prof. Dr. Elisabeth André, Prof. Dr. Alexandra Manzei-Gorsky, and Prof. Dr. Claudia Traidl-Hoffmann in cooperation with the Center for Interdisciplinary Health Research (ZIG) at the University of Augsburg. The aim of the G.IP series is to take the demands of interdisciplinary research seriously and to make the latest findings from health research available across disciplines. The G.IP series publishes in two lines: First, the special issues examine current health topics from an interdisciplinary perspective and are edited by a specifically composed interdisciplinary team of experts. Second, special issues on specific questions of interdisciplinary health research are published regularly. This series publishes both monographs and anthologies written in German. This series of publications is dedicated to the analysis of international security crises and conflicts. Through anthologies and monographs, expertise from theory and practice is combined to promote dialogue and provide an all-encompassing situation report. Accordingly, German (and European) security and defence policies are examined with regard to each area of conflict and potential solutions are developed.

This publication series encompasses monographs and anthologies on the role of sea power in international relations, the evolution of naval forces and maritime strategy, and the importance of maritime security in global security. It is characterized by strong practical relevance. It addresses an international professional readership as well as the larger audience of those in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland who are interested in issues of maritime strategy and security. The series is strictly problem-oriented. Each publication marries academic quality to carefully articulated naval thought and is anchored in intellectual excellence. It is driven by the conviction that shared knowledge is empowerment.

The series Media and Religion offers a platform for innovative and creative contributions to this particular research field. It presents research projects from the fields of religion, theology, sociology, media, film and gender studies, political science, cultural studies and visual studies. Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary studies are particularly welcome. The series aims to publish critical analyses of the multi-layered interactions between religion and media in history and contemporary society from an empirical, theoretical, and hermeneutical perspective.

Academic research into borders is currently facing great challenges, which can be traced back to both developments in society and the subject of border studies itself, as boundaries are no longer found at the places where borderlines have been drawn and they increasingly demand multidimensional forms of access. This series of publications is expressly aimed at researchers on this subject from the humanities, cultural studies and the social sciences, who want to publish empirical (qualitative and quantitative) studies, textual analyses and theoretical works from a diachronic and/or a synchronic perspective. Its aim is to raise awareness of a pool of cultural studies analyses and promote discussion and the exchange of ideas about them.
