‘Menschenwürde und Menschenrechte’ (Human Dignity and Human Rights) is a series of books published by the Euregio-Plattform für Menschenwürde und Menschenrechte (EUPHUR), a joint initiative founded by the Universities of Innsbruck, Bozen-Bolzano and Trento, and the Academy of Merano. The goal of EUPHUR is to examine and reflect on both basic questions of human dignity and key issues in current debates on human rights from an academic perspective in order to initiate and foster societal discourse on these subjects. The broad and diverse range of issues in this regard demands interdisciplinary cooperation between different fields, in particular law, philosophy, economics and the social sciences. Accordingly, this series of books offers a forum for works which address this subject in various forms, and which cannot only be used by established senior and junior researchers, but also publishes factually well-founded contributions from the fields of politics and journalism, to name just two. The editors welcome submissions to the series in the form of monographs, anthologies, conference proceedings and academic theses, whose publication is subject to approval by the editorial board. The works published in the series may be written in German, English or Italian.

The „Contributions to Comparative and International Public Law“ discuss topics of contemporary public international law, European Union law and comparative public law. They aim to contribute to a better understanding of the basic structures and current evolutions in international, supranational and domestic public law at a time of their growing interdependence and interaction. Future volumes in the series will deal with the extraterritorial application of the UN Covenant on Social and Economic Rights, the obligations of States and International Financial Institutions to protect social and economic rights in the Sovereign Debt Crisis and the comparative law of independent regulatory agencies.

It is aimed at a broad readership from the fields of science, business and politics, and, in general, at readers interested in Vietnam and its neighbouring countries. The studies in the series aim to inform its readership, especially its Western audience, objectively and competently about today’s Vietnam and its role in an increasingly important region of the world: South East Asia and East Asia. As Vietnam is a dynamic state, its internal development and foreign relations are undergoing considerable change.

The Collegium Politicum is an international research network focusing on Ancient Political Theory and its reception in the history of political thought. Founded by Francisco L. Lisi in 2000, the network organizes annual meetings of its members who mostly teach at European Universities from several different countries. There are a wide range of activities and cooperation among the members such as joint workshops, international conferences, joint publications, and exchanges of faculty and graduate or doctoral students as well as post-doctoral researchers. Our book series is not only open for publications of our members and annual meetings, but to all innovative and high-quality contributions on Classical Political Thought and its reception. We welcome contributions from both accomplished scholars and young researchers at the beginning of their career. The latter includes outstanding Ph.D.-theses and “Habilitationsschriften”. Proposals submitted to the editors are subjected to a double-blind peer review and need to be accepted by the editorial board.

Anthologies and monographs are collected in our publishing house’s flagship series, which addresses current topics from the field of humanities, in particular based on interdisciplinary questions. Founded in 1988 by the distinguished Germanist Gerhard Neumann (1934–2017), this highly respected series has become irreplaceable in literature studies and cultural studies research.

The series entitled ‘Nordica’ offers up-to-date literary studies contributions to Scandinavian studies in the form of monographs and anthologies. Since it was founded in the year 2000, the series has established itself above all as a forum for discussion and the application of cultural and media studies approaches to new Scandinavian studies. ‘Nordica’ offers its readers the chance to follow recent developments in interdisciplinary theory and methods with innovative reading matter on literature, film and other media from northern Europe. Interdisciplinary networking, the relevance of literary studies in general for Scandinavian studies and the significance of Scandinavian cultural heritage for interdisciplinary literature studies are important in this respect. Accordingly, the series has already published studies on the definitive authors of Nordic literature such as Strindberg, Ibsen, Hamsun and Inger Christensen, on Scandinavian contemporary and youth literature, which is widely read internationally, and also on the relation between text and pictures, and literature and radio or jazz.

This series is intended as a forum for a form of literary studies whose cultural studies expansion has been consolidated since the ›turns‹ in recent decades. The monographs and anthologies it publishes address the ›textures‹ which literature (and culture in general) is composed of: the literal materials and the media and cultural contexts that are inserted and interwoven into texts. These works and analyses are characterised by their openness towards incisive theoretical discussions in literary, media and cultural studies as well as their demands for innovative approaches.
