Warum Leviathan? Einblicke in Entstehung und Entwicklung einer sozialwissenschaftlichen Zeitschrift

The widely stirring times of the student movement had it's peak in the end of the sixties with a deep delving into the thoughts of Marx and Freud. Out of this movement grew our scientific quarterly Leviathan. The editors didn't want to work inside a narrow cage and opened the journal for theoretically significant articles and controversial debates on a wide range of social science themes. How Leviathan came into existence, how did it’s guiding motives of critical analysis display in the course of the years.
