In this article, Irina Zakharova addresses the question of how organizational processes in schools are imagined in policy documents and who should do the organizational work according to this vision. Digital platforms crystallize as central actors which organize schools by means of their idealized functions such as centralization, networking and ready-to-hand availability, whereby a tension between the platforms and the work of human actors operating them becomes visible.
