perceptions to correspond to reality. The legal system must find a
response to this development. This work examines the conditions under
which deepfakes are covered by current criminal law, takes into
account non-criminal law approaches such as the AI Regulation, and,
through a comparative legal analysis with France, the USA and South
Korea, develops a proposal for a new criminal law provision. The book
is aimed at legal scholars and practitioners, as well as stakeholders
in internet policy, the media and civil society. The author works at
