Die neue Initiative einer Verteidigungsforschung der Europäischen Union – Placebo oder echtes Allheilmittel?

At least on paper, the recent events in Europe have brought the armed forces back to the foreground and given them more weight again. Initiatives to bring about a noticeable increase in the efficiency of the armed forces of the EU Member States have been put on the agenda. To reduce the gap in capabilities between the U.S. and the EU member states, which is mainly due to insufficient cooperation between the EU member states, a European Defense Action Plan and a European Defense Fund were set up. This Plan and the Fund should strengthen European defense research and systems. It is now up to the individual member states whether this plan is actually put into practice and if the fund is responded to by all member states.
