Die von Gardner (1985) als Parental Alienation Syndrome (PAS) beschriebene Form elterlicher Einflussnahme auf das Kind in hoch konflikthaften Trennungssituationen gilt in der familienrechtlichen Begutachtungspraxis als umstritten. In diesem Beitrag werden der gegenwartige Stand der Diskussion dargestellt, Impulse fur die Begutachtungspraxis reflektiert und zukunftige Forschungsperspektiven vorgeschlagen.
