- Kapitelvorschau:
Efforts to reduce emissions in the fields of energy and mobility lead to an increasing demand for shaped components made from thin metal foils. Manufacturing and designing such components is highly challenging. Conventional characterization tests for designing these components digitally are reaching their limits. In this context, an innovative setup for cyclic shear testing is introduced, enhancing the structural stability of the specimen and enabling modeling of the material‘s strengthening behavior.
