note = {In this article, I will attempt to present the current state of
›Relational Economics‹ and the ›Relational Theory of the Firm‹
with regard to what I consider to be some essential theoretical
building blocks. In doing so, I will make use of the books and essays
I have presented and will clarify these at one point or another and
attempt alternative formulations. One focus of the discussion will be
the processes of relational value creation, which require further
theoretical and practical elaboration. In particular, I am interested
in elucidating the concept and character of the generation of a
cooperation rent as ›Shared Value Creation‹ and the ›purpose‹
of the firm. Here I will try to contribute some new and – I hope –
clarifying points of view to the discussion on a relational theory of
the firm.},
